MARBE 22th International Natural Stones and Technologies Fair, organized by İZFAŞ and hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, will take place at Fuar İzmir, the largest and the most modern fairground in Turkey.
Having been organized for the first time in 1995 on an area of 2 thousand 600 square meters with the participation of 47 companies; MARBLE hosted a total of 1562 participants, 373 of which were foreign, last year and it keeps welcoming significant companies of the sector this year by growing at a rate of 12% with participants more than 1700. Being organized this year for the 22nd time, the fair wins the first place in Turkey and ranks among the top three fairs organized in its sector all around the world.
Having stated that there were ongoing works to welcome the leading architectures and the sector representatives using marble all around the world; Hasan Tunçağ, Vice General Director of İZFAŞ, said “Just like every year, we will be welcoming the participants with a high quality organization and visitor portfolio this year, too. With MARBLE, we have realized great works that made impression all around the world. Our purpose is to have our names written among the best fairs of the world with an ever increasing success”.
Some arrangements have been performed at Fuar İzmir for MARBLE 2016 where Antolini Luigi, one of the special companies of the world in its sector, will be present as a participant. r to meet the place allocation demands coming from the sector, new exhibition areas have been created at the open areas of Fuar İzmir and layouts of the companies have been arranged in a way to facilitate visitors’ movement. The open area has been covered in order to prevent marble processing machines from getting affected by any adverse weather condition and new area allocation works have been initiated at fairground of Fuar İzmir for construction equipment. The fact that the importance of marble processing industry has increased, leading the sector to be fed by this technology, has constituted the backbone of the changes made in the fair.
