Thousands of New Blocks, Hundreds of Manufacturers the Most Prestigious Fair of the Industry to Display 60.000 tons of Block Marble

4TH BURSA INTERNATIONAL MARBLE BLOCK FAIR will be organized by Tüyap Bursa Fuarcılık in cooperation with BTSO (Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and MADSİAD (Mineral-Marble Producers and Industrialist Businesspersons Association) this year from October 24 to 27, 2018 at Tüyap Bursa Convention Center.

4th edition of Bursa International Marble Block Fair organized by Tüyap Bursa Fuarcılık in cooperation with BTSO (Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry) and MADSİAD (Mineral-Marble Producers and Industrialist Businesspersons Association) is the only specialized exhibition in Turkey. In 2017, exhibitors showcased over 2.000 block marbles, weighing a total of 50.000 tons, ranging from 10 tons to 26 tons, with over 650 different colors and patterns, further empowering the industry.

“THE MOST PRESTIGIOUS FAIR OF THE INDUSTRY WITH 60.000 TONS OF BLOCK MARBLE”

TÜYAP Bursa Fuarcılık AŞ General Director İlhan Ersözlü said that the Bursa International Block Marble Fair is growing steady every year on the way to becoming a brand event. Stating that contributions of BTSO and MADSİAD have played a crucial role in this success, Ersözlü said, “215 companies from 15 countries attended the 2017 edition as exhibitors. This year, we are aiming a growth rate of exhibitors by 20%. The fair where over 2500 block marbles having different colors and patterns and coming from different mines across Turkey will be exhibited, is the most prestigious fair in the industry. We aim to reach 60.000 tons of block marbles to be exhibited this year. This is why we are the most prestigious fair in the industry. On 24-28 October 2018, the fair is setting off on a 60.000 m2 total area, spread across 8 different halls and outdoor exhibition area for construction and mining machines processing the block marbles. As an innovation, indoor block exhibition are is expected to meet majority of the participation requests.”

INTERNATIONAL FAIR IS A MEETING PLATFORM FOR SECTOR PROFESSİONALS ACROSS DIFFERENT REGIONS

Further enhancing its quality with the newly-admitted international fair status, the Fair increases visibility and awareness abroad as well. Thanks to coodination of Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Insutry and Tüyap international liaison offices, the fair was visited in 2017 by 20.898 professionals across 41 countries with China and India leading the way. Although its third edition, the only specialized block marble fair in Turkey, the 4-day event reinforced its solid position as a brand fair with its business volume created. This year, the fair will attract sector professionals from China and India, among others, while empowering export and competitiveness of the industry.
